Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor in the State of Texas, as well as a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work with over 27 years of experience.
Jennifer’s services include individual, couples, family, and group counseling. She utilizes a variety of approaches such as CBT, CT, BT, DBT, Psychoanalytic, Gestalt, Grief and Loss, Body-Centered, Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused, and EMDR therapy. She views life’s struggles as opportunities for growth; and working together to build upon strengths, identify purpose, and add positive meaning to life. She specializes in the treatment of trauma, to include childhood trauma and developing insights and resolution of long-standing, difficult to understand patterns in our life and relationships. She is available for in-person and virtual appointments.
Lisa has an eclectic approach to counseling, utilizing CBT, DBT, and Gestalt therapy when working with clients. She has a passion for seeing people achieve breakthroughs that positively impact their life’s journey.
Lisa holds a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Victoria and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Our Lady of Lake University-San Antonio. She has extended her learning to better treat clients suffering from trauma and is trained in EMDR Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Internal Family System (IFS), and Emotion-Focus Therapy (EFT). Lisa is experienced in working with people in crisis, facing trauma, corrections, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient therapy. She’s diagnosed and treated individuals with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, anger, PTSD, OCD, and borderline personality disorders. Lisa’s mission in counseling is to help individuals, couples, families, and adolescents gain freedom and healing to live life fully!
Kayla is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate under the supervision of Cynthia Hammonds, MA, LPC-S, RPT-S.
Kayla holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies for education grades 4- 8 generalist from the University of Houston, and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Sam Houston State University. Kayla’s career journey began as an educator, then school counselor intern, and transitioned to an associate therapist. She understands life brings challenges, transitions, and unexpected events. Kayla believes each client is the expert in their own unique life. Her goal is to empower clients to make positive life changes while helping develop confidence in their ability to achieve a healthy balance in all aspects of their lives. Kayla has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, impulsivity, grief, sexuality/gender-related issues, and self-esteem. She holds a special place in her heart for children and adolescents struggling with day-to-day life challenges; it is her honor to walk with them as they learn to thrive! She works with adults, and couples/families as well. Kayla utilizes an integrated therapeutic approach that is hands-on, experiential, and expressive to fit the needs of her clients. Some of these include Sandtray, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family System (IFS), Mindfulness training, and Trauma-informed Therapy. It takes a lot of courage to work through your emotional complexities; as your counselor, she is committed to guiding and supporting you on your path to healing.
